Caring for animals, people and the land
Rescue and Rehabilitation
We rescue animals in need and nurse injured wildlife back to health, then find each one a safe, loving home or return it to the wild.
Awareness
We help people develop empathy for every living being, and show how regenerative farming and caring for the land go hand in hand with animal welfare.
Community
We host hands-on placements for veterinary and environmental science students, and run workshops for our community.

About Friends Sanctuary
Friends Sanctuary is a not-for-profit sanctuary in Kyogle, NSW, caring for rescued farm animals and native wildlife across a living landscape of paddocks, bushland and creek.
We believe the wellbeing of animals and people is bound up with the health of the land, water and communities around it. We work toward a world where animals are treated with kindness, and nature has room to thrive.
