About Friends Sanctuary
Friends Sanctuary is a not-for-profit sanctuary for rescued farm animals and native wildlife, and a place to learn about caring for animals and the land. Our purpose is to:
- Rescue and rehabilitate farm animals and native wildlife, and rehome each one as soon as it is ready
- Help people develop empathy for every living being
- Show how regenerative farming and caring for the land go hand in hand with animal welfare
- Offer placements in animal care built on kindness, compassion and empathy
- Run workshops and seminars on caring for animals and the land
